Yes. You can register domains with us and manage them from your client area whether or not the hosting for them is with us, and you can hold as many as you like on one account.
What you can do with a domain-only order
- Point it at another provider by setting your own nameservers
- Manage DNS records with us if you use our nameservers, so you can point the web address at one provider and email at another
- Set up email forwarding without hosting the mail here
- Renew it, and turn auto-renew on or off, from your client area
- Transfer it to us later from another registrar, or away from us if you move on
If you are just parking it
Plenty of people register a domain to hold the name, to protect a brand, or because they intend to build something later. That is fine and needs no hosting at all. The domain will simply sit in your account until you decide what to do with it.
If you later want a website or email on it, you can add a hosting package at any time and we will point the domain at it for you.
